Welcome to Paul Green's personal web site, which really has not much to do with Dies Irae. Why did I park my personal page on this site? It all started back in my musician days--believe it or not, I was a classically trained musician for much of my early years. It was while performing Liszt's Totentaz in an orchestra that I first became aware of the Dies Irae plainchant theme. As my musical repertoire increased, I was intrigued by the number of times the theme was 'snuck' into various musical works. Since that time I've been fond of all things Dies Irae related.
